Is the beach private?
Yes, we have 400′ of lakefront with a beach, only accessed by our guests.
Are dogs allowed?
We do not allow any pets at our property.
Can you swim?
Yes, the water is very shallow by our property, which makes it easily accessible for children and adults. There are two flights of stairs to get down to the beach from the cottages.
Is there a fire pit?
Yes, we have supplies that our guests can use to make nightly fires at our centrally located fire pit.
Is there Wi-Fi?
We have wi-fi at our cottages, but encourage you to disconnect from your busy lives and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the water and all that this property has to offer.
Do you have TV?
We do not have TVs in our cottages, we encourage you to enjoy the company of those around you or to get into a good book or game. Our Guest House, which is year round, does have a smart tv (you can bring your streaming login info with you to access what you wish).
How far is Cedar Point?
We are 18 miles east of Cedar Point, it takes about 24 minutes to drive there. We can see Cedar Point from the yard and beach out over the water. Very cool to see at night. Location

How far is Cleveland?
We are 45 minutes from the Cleveland Airport and it’s just a little further to downtown Cleveland. Location
Where can I fish?
There are many places to fish in our area including local charter boats. We also allow fishing from our property (no license needed on our property).
What restaurants are nearby?
We are 4 miles west of Downtown Vermilion and 3-4 miles from Huron restaurants. These offer everything from casual dining to elegant water side dinning. Some of our local favorites include the Wine Vault, Garage Bar, Rudy’s, Chart Room Vermilion, Chez Francois, Salvatores, and Marconi’s. Things to Do

What can I do in Vermilion for fun?
In downtown Vermilion you’ll find plenty of shopping, dinning, parks, a history museum, Romps Putter Port (for putt putt) and more!
We are very lucky to be just a few miles from Sherod Park which has a huge playground with accessible features for all ages. We are also near Old Woman Creek & Sheldon Marsh (hiking and bird watching), Main Street Beach & Park (live music in the summer, water access, etc), West Breeze Park (for pickleball courts).
